About Dr. Tewilliager
Dr. Tewilliager, “Dr. T”, was born and raised in Michigan and remains a diehard Detroit sports fan. He then completed his undergraduate training at Ohio Northern University, and his four years of Podiatric medical education at Kent State in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. T then continued his journey in Ohio where he completed his 3 year reconstructive foot and ankle surgery residency at OhioHealth Grant Medical Center training with leading experts in the field of foot and ankle surgery.
After residency he pursued advanced surgical training completing a 1 year fellowship at Advanced Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Specialists (Rocky Mountain Foot and Ankle Fellowship) in Denver, CO. There he worked under Dr. Alan Ng, former president of ACFAS and ABFAS, completing hundreds of advanced reconstruction cases including complex total ankle replacements, custom foot and ankle implants, arthroscopic cartilage repair among many other surgeries.
Dr. T then began practice in Louisville, KY for 3 years before joining Gulf Coast Orthopedics in Houma, LA where he has been since June 2025.
Dr. T Currently serves on the ACFAS Fellowship committee and has previously served on the ACFAS Consumer education committee. He has multiple publications including articles on: Osteochondral lesion repair, MTP fusion and Achilles tendon repair.
Dr. T lives in New Orleans with his wife and dog, he enjoys golfing, fishing and exploring all of the food that Louisiana has to offer!
